Christmas Eve Snow Storm

It started to snow on Christmas Eve afternoon. I couldn't believe it. I love snow and always wanted a white Christmas but didn't think it would ever happen in Texas. We tried to go out and play in it some but it was bitter cold and the wind was blowing so hard that the snow was coming down horizontal! I still managed to capture a few photos...








Just before sundown, the skies began to clear and the sun peeked out for just a moment and I captured this photo of the sunset in our backyard.
