Vivian's first steps

Vivian walked for the first time on Friday, May 6, 2005. Friday evening, I picked her up from daycare and had her in the bathroom with me while I was changing clothes. I walked out of the bathroom to hang clothes in the closet. When I turned around, she was walking across the floor toward me! I started screaming and jumping up and down so of course she sat down. But then I took her in the kitchen and she walked for Ryan. When Rick got home, she walked across the driveway to meet him.

The picture is from later that evening. She was with her Papaw in the round pen and he put her down and she started walking across the round pen. I had my camera so managed to grab a few pictures. And yes mom, I also got her on videotape last night.

I am so excited that I get to be a part of all these new experiences with her. As Rick and I watched her toddle across the driveway we looked at each other and said "Our life just changed again." Our days of leisure are definately over for now, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
